PhD Student, Systematics
Advisor: Dr. Paul Marek
Dissertation title: Taxonomic revisions of the North American millipede genera Pseudopolydesmus & Nannaria and investigations of chemical defense gland evolution in a millipede Müllerian mimicry ring
Research interests: I'm interested in showing the beauty of millipedes to the general public through foundational systematic research and science communication. My research deals with documenting and describing millipedes from North America while discovering their natural history, and using this knowledge to connect the public with the millipedes in their own backyard.
