Joelle Shenk has a passion for the performing arts. She traveled for three years with a professional traveling drama company, and currently owns and operates JoELoe Productions, LLC where she **teaches community and school based theatre classes with ages ranging from preschool through high school. In addition to teaching, Joelle provides interactive story times for several community based venues including The Lyric Theatre, Wonder Universe Children's Museum, and summer reading programs at libraries across Virginia and North Carolina. She has taught theatre abroad in China, Uganda, Ecuador, England, and Scotland. Joelle is currently a staff writer for a developing children's television program being pitched to Netflix and Amazon.

When not teaching or performing herself, Joelle enjoys spending time with friends, eating interesting food, and going on adventures to places she's never been!

Joelle has been reading stories, telling stories, and acting out stories for groups of all ages since she can remember! You may see her in productions on stage, teaching young actors the joys of theatre, or making books come to life in interactive story times!
